Students For Liberty (SFL) is the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world with students active in 117 countries on every inhabited continent. With a multi-million dollar budget and over 70 full-time staff members, we serve pro-liberty students in their pursuit to become leaders of liberty.  We accomplish this by identifying the top students and empowering them to be agents of change in their communities. Last school year, our students organized over 2,700 events with over 600,000 people in attendance. We are a fully virtual, vibrant, and entrepreneurial organization working with a diverse team in the U.S. and worldwide.

Position Summary

Students For Liberty Brasil is looking for an enthusiastic and professional candidate to fill the position of Programs Associate. This is a challenging full-time role with remote work capabilities that reports to the Brazilian Operations Director. 

The ideal candidate will be crucial in Logistics management and leadership training. You will be responsible for the logistical efficiency of events and training, identifying and managing all logistical aspects, and implementing methodologies to empower the leaders formed by SFL through our projects.

A successful candidate will have a solid commitment to classical liberal ideas, SFL’s mission statement, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Definition of the curriculum for educational activities and programs;
  • Approval of gamification activities;
  • Setting the themes for training and the main outline of events, such as LibertyCon;
  • Monitoring and analyzing group demands to adapt and update curricula;
  • Training coordinators to conduct training sessions;
  • Conduct in-person activities, ensuring quality execution;
  • Define hotels, social programs, kit items, slogans, and coordinate with the design team for event graphics;
  • Scout logistical needs for each training;
  • Select and approve participants for training sessions;
  • Define and approve the training facilitator and venue;
  • Establish partnerships for event execution;
  • Lead, organize, and enhance training sessions, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with the organization’s vision;
  • Monitor organization groups, understanding their activities and progress;
  • Conduct regular meetings with groups to gather feedback and understand their needs;
  • Deliver training sessions and ensure that coordinators are capable of leading their activities;
  • Analyze feedback after training sessions and implement improvements as necessary.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English;
  • Previous experience in the field of education or leadership training;
  • Knowledge of instructional design;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in G-suit;
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Proactive Approach;
  • Practical Knowledge in Logistics;
  • Proven Leadership Skills for Effective Management and Training;
  • Previous Experience in Project Coordination, with Emphasis on Logistics Management and Event Execution or leadership training.

Not required, but it’s a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in philosophy, history, or Related Fields;
  • Proficiency in Power BI or Google Data Studio;
  • Knowledge of Programming Languages.

If you pass on to the next phase, we will send you a Case Study to analyze your skill set for the position. You will have one week to complete the task. 

After the Case Study, there will be a series of interviews with the Brazilian and the International teams. More details will be given in the future.
