About Students for Liberty
Students For Liberty (SFL) is the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world, with volunteers active in over 100 countries across every inhabited continent. Our mission is to Educate, Develop, and Empower the next generation of leaders of liberty by identifying top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities.
We are a fully virtual, entrepreneurial organization with a diverse team spanning the U.S. and around the world.
About the Role
Over the past five years, the Development team has increased fundraising by 50% through a combination of transformational 6- and 7-figure gifts and solid increases from existing donors, while also significantly growing the donor base through innovative Donor Marketing.
We are successful, in part, because SFL raises money through vision-based fundraising, not piecemeal project pitches. Every fundraiser is trained to deliver SFL’s organizational pitch, selling the full scope of our mission and impact. This approach has been a powerful driver of donor engagement and gift growth, and it’s central to how this role operates.
If you love building authentic relationships with donors, making direct asks, and leveraging your drive and creativity to achieve ambitious revenue targets — this role was built for you.
This is a fully remote position with occasional travel. You’ll join a high-energy, mission-driven, lean development team working alongside other Development Officers, Development Marketing, a Foundations team, and Development Operations, reporting to the Director of Development Operations.
