Offering A Dynamic Mix Of Expert Panel Discussions On Libertarianism

Impact Project: Speak Your Mind

Speak Your Mind is a hybrid youth forum empowering Indonesian students to engage critically and responsibly in the digital public sphere. Led by Fahra Zahra Alya and supported by @america (the U.S. Embassy’s American cultural center in Jakarta), the project explores the intersection of free speech, digital citizenship, and misinformation.

The initiative offers a dynamic mix of expert panel discussions, interactive Q&As, and breakout groups where youth participate, debate, and co-create ideas. With cross-cultural perspectives and local grounding, Speak Your Mind directly addresses challenges in Indonesia’s online environment, including polarization, misinformation, and low digital literacy.

Initial Objectives:

  • Host a public forum (hybrid format) on digital citizenship, free expression, and misinformation.
  • Facilitate expert panels, interactive dialogue, and group discussions.
  • Equip youth with media literacy and responsible digital engagement skills.
