Democratizing Economic Education for Brazil’s Youth

Impact Project: Economia para Todos: Freedom in Schools

Economia Para Todos is a grassroots initiative to democratize access to economic education for Brazilian students aged 11 to 18, especially those in public schools. The project tackles the widespread lack of economic literacy (despite curricular recommendations) and empowers youth through hands-on workshops, debates, games, and practical learning tracks that connect abstract concepts like budgeting, inflation, and taxation to students’ daily lives.

Initial Objectives:

  • 50+ educational events
  • 200+ students directly reached
  • 50+ internal training sessions
  • 200+ social media posts
  • Ongoing community-building and active youth engagement across schools
