Simon Sarevski starts a libertarian cooking show

Published on

Cook & Liberty travels around major pro-liberty events where Simon Sarevski cooks for and interviews prominent speakers and event organizers

Very few people are vocally against liberty. But even fewer would say no to a good meal! Our volunteer Simon Sarevski from Macedonia was thinking along these lines earlier in the year, when he decided to start the first-ever libertarian cooking show.

Titled Cook & Liberty, the show travels around major pro-liberty events, as well as its native Western Balkans, and over the course of around two hours, Simon cooks some of the famous Macedonian bean-based dishes or ventures into local cuisines, while interviewing one of the events’ prominent speakers or organizers.

Simon Sarevski with CEO of Ayn Rand Center Europe Isidora Kolar

Starting with Petar Čekerevać, of LibeK and the Atlas Network, together with the former European Programs Director at Students For Liberty, Aleksandar Kokotović, there are now eight episodes already available on the show’s channel, and more is on the way soon.

And there is so much more — you can hear about Objectivism from Ely Lassman from Prometheus on Campus or the CEO of Ayn Rand Center Europe, Isidora Kolar, or about economic transformation in post-communist countries and how their experience can be applied in Venezuela with Jorge Jraissati and Jan Mošovský.

Simon Sarevski and Leyla Taghiyeva

In other videos, Simon delved into the practical aspects of spreading liberalism, when he spoke with the influencer and TikToker Leyla Taghiyeva, or Sebastian Węglarz from Liberty International, discussing music, pop culture, and its role in communicating ideas. So if you are a fan of good ideas as well as good meals, start watching Cook & Liberty!

Don’t forget to follow the show on Instagram or Twitter!
