African Students For Liberty Farewell Stories: Eric Coffie, Ghana

Published on

Student For Liberty’s success in Ghana wouldn’t be complete without the efforts and mention of Eric Coffie, African Students For Liberty’s Regional Coordinator for Leadership & Group Management in West Africa for 2019.

Eric became a local coordinator in July of 2016 and since then has been very active.

In particular, Eric was instrumental to the revival of SFL Ghana. He helped us revive SFL in Ghana at a very critical moment when community activities were limited, no thanks to the country’s rogue leadership. Being the most active coordinator then, he single-handedly worked very hard to recruit leaders. In order to help grow the movement in Ghana, he started hosting events such as campus outreaches and a series of leadership forums aimed at students.

In 2018, he joined the Executive Board as the Capacity Director in charge of Leadership Fora, and in 2019, he became the Regional Coordinator for Leadership & Group Management in West Africa.

Eric’s progress through the years has been tied to that of commitment and dedication. Students For Liberty was lucky to have a talented leader like him.
