Bio: Muhammad Usman was born and raised in a small village in District Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, in a society deeply influenced by socialist and communist ideologies. Until 2018, he firmly believed in those ideas and identified as a Marxist. However, things began to shift when he started studying International Relations at the University of Peshawar. Through academic exposure to a wide range of political and economic theories, he realized that the ideology he once followed wasn’t the only path.
In February 2022, Usman attended a five-day residential course by National Influencers — a think tank that introduced him to liberal values, the power of individual freedom, and the importance of open societies. That experience was the spark, and in 2023, it turned into a fire when he joined Students For Liberty as a Local Coordinator.
