Maksudur Rahman

Bio: Maksudur Rahman is a Prometheus Fellow at Students For Liberty,  Don Lavoie Fellow at the Mercatus Center, George Mason University. Maksudur is a fearless advocate of individual liberty, free markets, and public policy. With a background in International Relations, his work focuses on the political economy of corruption, public choice theory, and economic freedom as drivers of institutional reform. Rooted in his South Asian heritage, he explores the challenges and opportunities for libertarian ideas in regions where they remain underdeveloped yet hold significant potential. Currently, he is leading a project to facilitate the formal integration of the Bihari (Urdu-speaking) community in Bangladesh by securing their electoral identification, a crucial step toward their economic and social inclusion.
