Dhiraj KC

Bio: Dhiraj KC is a final-year Electronics, Communications, and Information Engineering student at IOE, Tribhuvan University. His journey with Students For Liberty (SFL) began in 2022. Through this experience, he has learned the importance of individual liberty, free markets, and limited government in building a freer and more prosperous society. Along the way, he has grown as both a team member and a leader, learning from peers across South Asia and beyond.

He started as a Local Coordinator, later served as National Coordinator for Nepal, and now works as the Regional Coordinator for Creative Operations, South Asia. In these roles, he has mentored new coordinators, developed internal resources, and contributed to better communication and design strategies across the region.

Beyond SFL, Dhiraj is passionate about technology, design, and education. He has worked on projects involving IoT, automation, video editing, and Python scripting, and has been actively involved in student-led clubs and events. He enjoys solving problems through practical tools and simple systems that support others in their work.

He prefers staying behind the scenes, focusing on thoughtful execution rather than attention. In the long run, he hopes to keep learning, contribute meaningfully to causes he cares about, and build tools that make everyday life easier.

Favourite figures in liberty: Milton Friedman

On Students For Liberty: “Met a lot of people interested in politics, but Students For Liberty taught me they were just interested in power, opportunity, status, and influence, rather than changing lives of people and creating a better society.”

Students For Liberty is the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world.
