What to expect as LibertyCon Europe comes to Prague this spring

Published on

Absent from last year’s calendar, LibertyCon Europe is back! ESFL's flagship event will be held in Prague, Czechia, on April 23-24, 2022.

Absent from last year’s calendar, LibertyCon, European Students For Liberty’s annual flagship event, is back!

LibertyCon Europe will be held in Prague, Czechia, on April 23-24, 2022. This much anticipated gathering of liberty-minded people from across the continent and beyond will be the highlight of the year in terms of Students For Liberty events in Europe.
Reconnecting in person is an important theme of this year’s LibertyCon. As we see more and more government restrictions removed, we look forward to the largest pro-liberty gathering in Europe since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Together in Liberty: what to expect at LibertyCon Europe

Taking place over two days in the Czech capital, LibertyCon Europe is an amazing opportunity for attendees to expand their knowledge of pro-liberty ideas and gain new insights.

Our many fascinating guest speakers are experts in their respective fields, coming from across the globe and representing a range of perspectives on pro-liberty ideas. There will also be opportunities for attendees to meet and have conversations with speakers like Matt and Terry Kibbe, Li Schoolland, Dominik Stroukal, and many more!

The first day of activities will take place at the Cubex Centre and will consist of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and debates. Furthermore, pro-liberty organizations from all over the world will be present at our Liberty Fair.

On the second day, LibertyCon Europe will move to the Radlická Kulturní Sportovna, where it will take the form of a festival. This day will include film screenings, games, and open discussions.

This year’s LibertyCon Europe will provide unique networking opportunities for attendees in a way that has been missing for far too long. For those nostalgic about past editions of LibertyCon, this will be a chance to catch up with old friends and rediscover the LibertyCon Europe experience.

Prague: a truly amazing host city

One of LibertyCon Europe’s greatest assets in 2022 is its amazing host city: Prague. Renowned as a major destination in Central Europe for city breaks, Prague certainly has much to offer aside from LibertyCon.

While attending LibertyCon Europe, there are plenty of attractions in Prague that visitors will not want to miss. To begin with, in the heart of the city, Prague’s old town is widely celebrated for its charm. Steeped in history and home to some stunning architecture, the old town of Prague is also known for its excellent bars, restaurants, and coffeehouses.

At the core of this area is the beautiful Old Town Square, which is home to the Prague Orloj, an astronomical clock built in 1410 that is the world’s oldest clock to remain in operation. A short walk from here is the famous Charles Bridge, a medieval stone arch bridge that carries pedestrians across the Vltava river.

On the opposite side from the old town stands the imposing Prague Castle complex, which began construction in the 9th century. From here, visitors can enjoy some of the best views in the city. Between its architecture, nightlife, museums, restaurants, and famous Czech beers, Prague truly has something to offer everyone.

For liberty-minded people who might also have Prague on their travel bucket list, LibertyCon Europe 2022 provides the perfect incentive to visit.

Tickets are selling fast, and early bird tickets are only available for a limited time. If you’d like to attend LibertyCon Europe 2022 in Prague, be sure to click on the button below to register. You can also check out our FAQ page for further information. We hope to see you there!
