Students For Liberty (SFL) is the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world, with student leaders spanning well over 100 countries on every inhabited continent. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders, and training them to be agents of change in their communities.
Position Summary
Students For Liberty is looking for a versatile and creative Video Production Associate to join our video team. This is a full-time position where you will work on short documentaries, explainer videos, and promotional content.
We are looking for a well-rounded producer with skills in editing, motion design, and filming. If you have a mix of these skills, proven experience in them and are eager to expand your expertise, we encourage you to apply. A strong sense of visual storytelling, design principles and the ability to work independently are key to succeeding in this role. SFL offers a flexible schedule, and manageable workload.
Responsibilities Include:
- Edit short documentaries and motion graphics-heavy explainer videos;
- Edit promo & recap videos for events and conferences;
- Work with the team to craft compelling narratives for short-form documentaries;
- Understand color correction and audio editing;
- Operate filming equipment and be available for occasional travel for video shoots;
- Assist in planning shoots (permits, scheduling, pre-production);
- Working with a team on a tight production schedule.
Qualities of an Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in video editing and audio editing (must have training, degree or proven experience);
- Proficient in animation and motion design;
- Knowledge of the Adobe Suite apps.
- Excellent and clear communication and collaboration skills;
- Proficiency in English;
- Creative approach to problem-solving;
- Ownership, autonomy, self-reliance and entrepreneurial drive.
- Eagerness to learn, develop and improve their editing and animation skills.
