Nepal Policy Forum is a youth-led initiative that demystifies complex public policies and brings evidence-based debate to the forefront of civic life. Through inclusive, multi-stakeholder events in Chitwan, Surkhet, and Kathmandu, the project connects youth with policymakers, civil society, and research institutions. It aims to promote transparency, accountability, and liberty-centered policy dialogue across regions.
The Forum adopts a multi-channel format that combines in-person forums, online streaming, and media engagement. Collaborating with partners like LOLA, Samriddhi Foundation, and other civic organizations, the project builds a long-term platform for policy literacy and democratic participation, empowering citizens to question, debate, and shape the policies that govern them.
Initial Objectives:
- Host three policy dialogue events across Chitwan, Surkhet, and Kathmandu
- Engage youth, civil society, and experts in critical discussion on existing policies
- Produce accessible policy briefs and visual materials to expand reach
- Promote a liberty-based framework for evidence-driven governance
