Providing A Structured Simulation Ecosystem For Young People Aged 15 To 29, Including High School Students

Impact Project: Liberty MUN Brasil

The initiative provides a structured simulation ecosystem for young people aged 15 to 29, including high school students, gap-year youth, and university students. Through participatory simulations and a national volunteer network, Liberty MUN Brasil equips participants with essential skills such as argumentation, negotiation, persuasion, empathy, and public speaking. It integrates liberal ideas into diplomatic storytelling, highlighting voluntary cooperation, interest-driven narratives, and the value of plural, critical debate. The project aims to create long-term educational transformation by offering an alternative model that complements traditional schooling and reaches underserved communities.

What makes Liberty MUN Brasil unique is its commitment to breaking social and geographic barriers. While most MUN initiatives focus on elite schools or isolated events, this project builds an accessible national platform rooted in civic education and innovation. It connects Hayekian insights about spontaneous order with simulation-based learning, creating an environment where ideas compete through persuasion rather than authority. By prioritizing outreach in the North and offering both online and affordable in-person simulations, the project expands opportunities for youth who rarely access these experiences.
