Juventude Livre (JL) is a nationwide student movement dedicated to democratizing academic spaces in Brazil and embedding liberty-oriented perspectives within student politics. JL operates through a structured network of national, state, and sectoral leaders and acts as the activist arm of the libertarian movement on campus. Its flagship goal is to gain formal representation at the 60th National Union of Students Congress (CONUNE) by electing over 70 delegates through university elections across the country. JL stands out by combining political engagement with intellectual training, organizing over 50 events annually, publishing daily digital content, and establishing a strong presence in traditionally overlooked regions. The initiative seeks to shape a new generation of liberty-minded student leaders capable of transforming Brazilian academia into a plural, open space for free debate.
Initial Objectives:
- Elect 70+ delegates and win representation at CONUNE.
- Organize 50+ campus events and at least 5 national training sessions.
- Raise over R$130,000 to fund operational and outreach activities.
- Expand JL’s presence in student bodies across Brazil.
- Hold 8+ leadership and governance meetings monthly.
