- What made you decide to join Students For Liberty?
When I was younger, I studied political science and was introduced to libertarian ideas. I felt instantly connected to these views. But at that time, I couldn’t find the means to channel my thoughts or grow my potential and network.
I was constantly Googling things about libertarianism, and then finally I found Students For Liberty. They have complete trainings and all kinds of resources to help leaders develop their skills across the globe, and this amazed me. Â
- What was your biggest accomplishment as a student leader with Students For Liberty?
My biggest accomplishment was being named a Top 10 leader in the Asia-Pacific region.
- What are some of the best tools and resources Students For Liberty gave you?
The best tools and resources Students For Liberty gave me was access to a huge network of pro-liberty thinkers, as well as reading materials which were very useful to me during my political science studies.
Moreover, SFL has a training program for their leaders, and offers support to leaders in training.
- What would you tell someone who’s considering getting involved?
I wish I could have joined Students For Liberty much earlier than I did. SFL encouraged me to do something useful in my circle, by promoting libertarian perspectives to help build a freer future and a more humane society. Â
- What made you interested in the ideas of liberty?
I’m living in such a restrictive society, with so many policies that act as barriers to exercising my rights. In most prosperous nations, individual rights are fiercely defended. This is why the ideas of liberty are worth promoting.
- What does liberty mean TO YOU?
Liberty is a means to lead the world and make it a happier place, by helping people find their purpose in life, and creating greater conditions for human flourishing.
