In Venezuela, the team led by Oriana Aranguren and Carlos Infante was named Group of the Year at LibertyCon International 2025 after organizing 241 events that reached more than 3,400 people, often under serious personal risk. Despite travel restrictions, the group later received its award during the Advanced Leadership Retreat in Panama City. Even amid repression, the Venezuelan network continued to grow, organizing two LibertyCons with over 300 attendees and confirming 30 new volunteers.

In Colombia, National Coordinator Cristian Romero gained national visibility by proposing a libertarian constitution.

In Bolivia, Luis Gustavo Cuellar organized a vice-presidential debate and led 40 Frater Liberal events with more than 700 participants. In Mexico, the Liberty Roadshow attracted 6,049 attendees across 74 events in 15 states, demonstrating the power of decentralized, student-led activism.

Meanwhile, in Argentina, Javier Milei’s connection with SFL is a testament to the power of student engagement. Manuel Ferretti Martinez, SFL Spain’s former social media manager, formed a lasting bond with Milei, eventually inviting him to speak at an event in Italy. This collaboration between SFL and Milei was one small but meaningful step toward advancing free-market ideas in Latin America.

Students For Liberty is the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world.
