Careers Guide

As part of their training, our student leaders have the opportunity to develop fundraising, marketing, event organization, and leadership skills as a local coordinator. This training is further supplemented by the real-life application of planning, marketing, and launching local conferences, among many other events. What’s more, our top student leaders receive development support across a range of disciplines during our top leadership retreats.

As a Students For Liberty coordinator, we also want to nurture your development so that when you do graduate, you’ll have the opportunity to carry on the legacy of thousands of students as a member of our SFL alumni.

Some of our alumni go on to accomplish great feats, such as running for local office, leading pro-liberty think tanks, and even starting new businesses. Some have even been featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list, and also won numerous awards.

In our careers guide, we aim to supply you with a range of resources, including (but not limited to):

  • Jobs within the pro-liberty network

  • Interviews with SFL alumni

  • Tips for landing job interviews

  • Resume/CV writing support

  • LinkedIn profile optimization

  • Networking events

  • LibertyCon career fairs

  • And much more!

Regardless of your career interests, it’s important to gain work and internship experience, and get involved in activities that suit your ambitions. Most post-university jobs require a range of skills, accomplishments, and experience.

The world of work is ever-evolving. With advances in technology, new jobs are created each and every day. As you take the time to figure out what kind of career you wish to start, know that we want to support you on your professional journey.
