About the Role

This professional will be responsible for designing and executing high-quality leadership educational programs and events, ensuring both strategic alignment with the organization’s vision and operational excellence. Their role includes defining training content and curricula, managing logistics, training Local Coordinators, approving participants, and overseeing the implementation of key initiatives such as LibertyCon. They must be capable of translating educational goals into engaging adult learning experiences while ensuring all logistical aspects are efficiently managed. The ideal candidate combines andragogical vision with strong organizational skills to deliver impactful and well-executed projects.

Responsibilities

  • Approve gamification activities
  • Monitor and analyze group demands to adapt and update curricula
  • Define training themes, event master guidelines, and curriculum for activities and educational programs
  • Train coordinators to carry out trainings and events, teaching them how to plan and execute event logistics, ensuring all necessary resources are available and efficiently used
  • Deliver trainings and ensure coordinators are capable of leading their activities
  • Conduct both online and in-person activities, ensuring high execution quality
  • Define logistics of training programs, including but not limited to: hotel arrangements, social programming, kit items, slogans, and coordinate with the design team for event materials
  • Select and approve participants for the trainings
  • Manage and train coordinators involved in staff-executed projects such as LibertyCon, ensuring alignment and high-standard execution
  • Define logistical needs for each training 
  • Select and approve participants for the trainings
    Establish partnerships for event implementation
  • Lead, organize, and improve trainings, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with the organization’s vision
  • Work closely with Students For Liberty’s Global Performance team to assess the organization’s standards and vision for training programs

Qualifications

Required:

  • Commitment to the values and mission of the organization
  • Proven experience in planning and executing educational programs and/or large-scale events
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles (andragogy)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience training or facilitating learning for groups
  • Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English
  • Availability to travel for in-person events and trainings

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Previous experience in logistics coordination or event production
  • Experience working with volunteers or managing teams in a nonprofit or educational setting
  • Familiarity with gamification strategies in educational contexts
  • Knowledge of instructional design or curriculum development
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello)
  • Background in political education, classical liberalism, or civic engagement initiatives
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships
