Olufemi Ogunjobi

Bio: Olufemi is the Director of The Statement Fellowship at Students For Liberty, SFL’s flagship multi-year leadership development program. The Fellowship selects fellows from SFL’s global volunteer pool, develops them through a curriculum grounded in the Austrian economic tradition, and places them on credible paths to real influence across academia, policy, media, and public life.

He has been part of Students For Liberty since 2013, beginning as a local coordinator in Nigeria and holding several leadership positions across the African Students For Liberty program. He joined the staff in 2017 as African Programs Associate, then African Programs Manager, overseeing operations, communications, and the recruitment and training of volunteers across more than 28 countries in Africa.

He went on to direct the Prometheus Fellowship Program, a multi-year global leadership program for outstanding students from 45+ countries, and to build the Global Accelerator Program (GAP) from scratch, a year-long leadership accelerator that contributed to the largest single grant in SFL’s history.
Immediately before the Director role, he led alumni advancement at SFL, designing the systems that turn top student coordinators into a lifelong leadership community. He continues to support that work in a lighter capacity, and remains involved with the African Liberty project.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Language Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and completed an Executive Program in Non-Profit Leadership and Think Tank Management at Pan Atlantic University (Lagos Business School). He is an alumnus commentator with Young Voices and completed an Executive Education Program in Media, Communications and Public Policy at King’s College London.
