SFL UK & Ireland will be joined by Dr Kristian Niemietz, Head of Political Economy at the IEA. He authored the report “Universal Healthcare without the NHS, towards a patient-centred health system”, where he explores in depth the effects of the NHS, how it compares to other healthcare systems and proposes a plan for an orderly transition to a patient-centred system. Dr. Niemietz will join us to discuss how the NHS compares to the social health insurance systems in Europe and the reforms the NHS needs.
