How to Break Into the Popular Press as a Young Writer

Fiona Harrigan is a copy editor at Reason Magazine and an associate contributor for Young Voices, where she is also an Openness Fellow. She is currently a Marcellus Policy Fellow with the John Quincy Adams Society. Fiona is a 20 year old and a junior at the University of Arizona.

Fiona primarily writes on immigration, international affairs, and U.S. foreign policy. Her words have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The National Interest, the Orange County Register, and many other outlets.

She will speak to us about how to get into the popular press and getting published, as well as how to better prepare yourself in getting published. After the lecture she will answer a few questions.
