The CEO of Students For Liberty, Dr. Wolf von Laer, will be interviewing Bill Ottman and Jack Ottman, who have both co-founded Minds.com, a Blockchain based social media alternative.
Bill Ottman is an American Internet entrepreneur and freedom of information activist based in New York City, best known as the CEO and co-founder of Minds.
Ottman pursued English and music at the University of Vermont while working as a collaborative artist and event director in Burlington, VT. In 2010, he worked as Director of Marketing at Gathering of the Vibes Music and Arts Festival.
In 2011, Ottman co-founded Minds, an open source social networking platform that is regarded globally as an alternative to traditional social media networks based on its dedication to radical transparency, monetization, digital rights, blockchain and equity crowdfunding.
In November 2019, Ottman launched a civil discourse project called Change Minds with Daryl Davis, well-known for deradicalizing over 200 members of the KKK. He has contributed writing to The Next Web about the correlation between censorship and radicalization.
