Bio: Dickson found his interest in ideas of liberty and free society while studying for his BA. in Political Science and Public Administration. The works of libertarian scholars inspired him, and the invitation to Tanzania Students For Liberty conference in 2016 was a turning point in his involvement in the liberal movement.
He joined SFL as a Local Coordinator in 2016 while in the second year of his bachelor’s degree at the University of Dar es Salaam. Dickson became a National Coordinator for Tanzania in 2018, and a year later, he joined a Regional Coordinator Program as Regional Coordinator for Southern Africa. While volunteering with SFL, he worked with Liberty Sparks as a Director of Programs and Administration between 2017 and 2020. He served as African Students For Liberty Programs Intern from October 2020 to January 202.
Dickson is a communication and marketing expert with Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication and has worked in digital marketing for more than four years with Bit-Tech Limited. He co-founded Inspire Better Education Tanzania, a nonprofit organization based in Tanzania.
