Position Summary

Asia-Pacific Students For Liberty is seeking a full-time Programs Associate to help oversee the success of our Local Coordinator Program, which serves as the premier platform for students interested in promoting the ideas of free markets and individual liberty on college campuses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to identify, recruit, interview and onboard new members, expanding our network of liberty-minded students across the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of volunteer activities, ensuring effective tracking of progress toward organizational goals and volunteer engagement.
  • Assist in developing and facilitating training and educational programs to enhance volunteer skills and knowledge, enabling them to become more effective liberty advocates.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties to aid in daily operations, including but not limited to, drafting reports, maintaining active social media accounts, scheduling and conducting meetings with volunteers, representing the organization in partner events, etc.

Qualities of the Ideal Candidate

  • A clear understanding of SFL’s vision and mission statements.
  • A solid grasp of libertarian/classical liberal ideas.
  • Proven experience in event planning and recruitment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to travel.
