Preston Nieves

Preston Nieves is a graduate of Texas State University holding a degree in Political Science with a minor in German. With a passion for politics and statecraft generally, his primary areas of interest and academic focus are civil liberties, foreign policy, gun rights/policy, military and defense, as well as economic, monetary and trade policy. He also possesses a thorough understanding of Chinese history, culture, and strategic thought, particularly when it comes to China’s geopolitical ambitions and how they can impact U.S. strategic interests. In his free time, Preston enjoys shooting guns, exercising, playing video games, reading, and traveling.
