Lanre Peter Elufisan is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Ominira Initiative for Economic Advancement, a Nigerian-based think tank with the mission to research and advance solutions to Africa’s socio-economic issues. Lanre received his first degree at the University of Agriculture Abeokuta, after which he trained as a Journalist at the Nigerian Broadcast Academy. Lanre hosts Africa This Month on OminiraTV, the media project of the Ominira Initiative. Prior to founding this organization, he volunteered as a Local Coordinator for Africa Students For Liberty and worked as a copywriter at a creative marketing agency. He holds a certificate in Multimedia storytelling and video production and has a deep interest in documentary filmmaking and Africa’s socio-political and economic issues.
