Bio: Born in Russia and adopted at a young age, Coleman Theodore later found his calling in the liberty movement — drawn to it in part by an awareness of Russia’s history under Soviet communism. His journey with Students For Liberty began in 2017 at ISFLC. During his time at the College of Charleston, SFL played a critical role in shaping his values and empowering him to advocate for liberty on campus. Alongside his involvement with Young Americans for Liberty, Turning Point USA, College Republicans, and the NRA, Coleman counts among his proudest achievements the campaign that, with support from FIRE, secured a “green light” free speech rating for his college’s campus policies.
After graduating, Coleman joined Turning Point USA, where he spent three years in the field program building chapters across North Carolina. He later moved to TPUSA’s development team, where he ran the Alumni Program for several years while also working on donor relations, membership strategy, and operations. Most recently, he served as a Field Development Manager on TPUSA’s newest initiative, TPUSA Communities.
Coleman is thrilled to return to Students For Liberty and looks forward to advancing the cause of liberty in his new role. Outside of work, you’ll usually find him training for his next marathon — or watching his favorite sports teams let him down, except Ohio State.
Favorite Figures in Liberty: Charlie Kirk, John Stossel, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Ayn Rand and David Boaz
On Students For Liberty: Students for Liberty offers students the ability to explore liberty in their voice. If we hope to make the next generation better than the last it starts by teaching them the basic principles of liberty and giving them the ability to advocate for the change they want to see. SFL has done this for me and many others and do to this work the future of liberty is bright thanks to SFL.
