Bio: Abdelhay holds a Master’s degree in Cultural and Artistic Project Management from Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. He discovered his passion for liberty through Students For Liberty, where he progressed from Local Coordinator to MENA Regional Coordinator before assuming his current role as MENA Programs Associate.
As Regional Coordinator, he organized seminars and debates across Morocco, Tunisia, and Mauritania. He led the first-ever LibertyCon MENA in 2025 — keeping the region active despite the real challenges of organizing in the MENA context. Abdelhay is passionate about individual rights, free markets, drug law reform, and the role of culture and the arts in advancing a free society.
In his free time, he enjoys surfcasting near Mehdia beach, Moroccan cinema, and exploring ideas in art and aesthetics.
Favorite Figures in Liberty: Ayn Rand, Frédéric Bastiat, Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises.
On Students For Liberty: “Students For Liberty gave me more than a platform — it gave me a community that believes ideas can change the world. Across the MENA region, we’re showing that individual freedom and free markets speak to every culture, and that a freer future is worth building together.”
