Mano Ferreira

Mano Ferreira is a journalist, co-founder, and director of communications of Livres, a Brazilian classical liberal organization. At Livres, he directed several important projects, including the Handbook of Public Policy and the documentary Real: Beyond a Currency, about the monetary stabilization plan that put an end to Brazilian hyperinflation in the 1990s. Nowadays, Mano is also a political commentator for a daily TV show on Jovem Pan, a broadcast radio and television network with national reach in Brazil. He publishes articles in the main press vehicles in Brazil, and has been a columnist for Estado da Arte, a project linked to Estadão, the second-largest newspaper in the country. He also worked as a reporter for the local newspapers Diario de Pernambuco and Folha de Pernambuco, in his hometown. In politics, Mano worked for 3 years as head of communication for the Social Liberal Party and carried out communication and branding consultancy for several politicians in office, from councilors to federal deputies. As a liberal activist, Mano founded the Brazilian chapter of Students For Liberty and helped create several study groups, especially in the northeast region of Brazil. Mano studied political branding at the International Academy for Leadership of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and holds a certification in public policy analysis from the London School of Economics.
