Naga Sravan Kilaru was a South Asia DFL Executive board Member from 23 April 2014 to 30 June 2015. He is the founder of “Vijayawada Needs U” a youth organisation in Vijayawada Buckinghampet, Andhra Pradesh, India the Mission of which is “To empower youth and provide it with an opportunity to be a key participant in bringing social reforms. To change the notion of representative governance by promoting participatory governance.”
For his efforts, he was awarded the REX Karmaveer Chakra Global Fellowship Award by iCONGO in association with United Nations Volunteers at Gurgaon near New Delhi, India on 27 November 2016.
