Bio: An International Relations/History double major in her final year at the University of Toronto, Rachel has been involved with SFL since 2017 and has served as a Local Coordinator, Regional Coordinator for Canada East, and President of the University of Toronto chapter. In her time at SFL she has been proud to build a local and regional network representing a wide range of libertarian perspectives. She has also organized events as Chair of the University of Toronto Hart House Student Debates and Dialogue Committee’s Politics and Law Subcommittee on civil libertarian issues such as defunding the police and free speech in the digital era. Her articles on Canadian foreign policy have been published in the SIR Journal of International Relations and The Future of History and has also contributed to Quillette Magazine and the NATO Association of Canada. A member of the university’s varsity wrestling and rugby teams, Rachel enjoys spending her free time tackling people and lifting heavy objects, and subsists on an ungodly amount of preworkout and peanut butter.
