The Ukrainian Students for Freedom, Students for Liberty and Operace Kyseláč by Liberální institut are inviting you to the second edition of the Ukrainian Renaissance conference, this time in Lviv!

Over the course of this two day international event, we will speak with Ukrainian and foreign experts, and explore the topics of Ukrainian resilience, reconstruction, and reforms the country can make to boost its economy and its place in Europe.

Besides hearing from insightful speakers, there will also be ample opportunities for networking and interacting with famous Ukrainian and international politicians, journalists, economists, and businessmen, as well as both Ukrainian and international students, so don’t miss this opportunity!

Mikolaj Pisarski

Mikolaj Pisarski is a board member and former president of the Mises Institute of Economic Education, one of the oldest free-market institutions in Poland dedicated to promoting and developing Austrian School of Economics. A libertarian and entrepreneur, he is one of the founders of Clinical Trials Solutions.

Nataliya Melnyk

Nataliya Melnyk is the Executive Director of Bendukidze Free Market Center in Kyiv, Ukraine, and the author and trainer of multiple youth and teacher workshops, editor of the Ukrainian version of Fraser Institute’s Economic Freedom of the World 2018 and 2019 Report, co-creator and lecturer of an online economic literacy course Economics for Every Day, editor of Economics for 8-9 Grades textbook, and co-creator of the Teacher’s Toolkit for Common Sense Economics.

Maryan Zablotskyy

Maryan Zablotskyy is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament. Prior to becoming an MP, Maryan created and chaired NGOs that advocated for economic freedom. He focused his activities in Ukraine on land and tax reforms, but he also works closely on creating coalitions of Cuban, Venezuelan, Iranian and other diasporas that suffer from the impact of totalitarian regimes.

Christian Năsulea

Christian Nasulea is the Executive Director at the Institute for Economic Studies – Europe. He teaches economics at the Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest and he is an associate lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His courses cover topics such as Global Economics, Globalization, History of Economic Thought, Business Administration etc. He holds a PhD in management with a thesis on complex adaptive systems. He is a fellow of the Institut de Recherches Economiques et Fiscales and his research interests mostly focus on economics and technology. In addition to his academic work he is a tech entrepreneur currently holding positions as CEO or CTO in several tech businesses.

Martin Pánek

Martin Pánek is the director of the Liberalni institut, the oldest liberal think-tank in the Czech Republic. Martin spent six years in the European Parliament as an assistant to Czech and British MEPs, promoting free trade, decentralization, open borders, and libertarian ideas in general. In the past year, much of the Institute’s time and resources have been dedicated to its humanitarian mission to Ukraine called “Operace Kyseláč”, which has delivered over $ 1,2M worth of material to the country.

Zoltán Kész

A former teacher, Zoltán was the director of the Free Market Foundation when he entered politics in 2015. He won a by-election as an independent, breaking the two-thirds majority of the governing party in February, 2015. He was in Parliament and remained an independent until 2018.

After politics, he returned to the think-tank world as the Director of Operations at Civitas Institute in Hungary. Since 2022, he has been working as Government Affairs Manager at the Consumer Choice Center. In his free time, he likes watching NFL games, reading books, or playing with his five children.

Adrian Pantiukhov

Adrian Pantyukhov is an economist at Ukraine Economic Outlook, an expert in economic forecasting and high-risk assets, as well as monetary policy.

Volodymyr Pivnenko

Member of the Public Control Council of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, leader of the Democratic Ax movement in Cherkasy, entrepreneur, lawyer, leading legal advisor and lecturer at the Department of Philosophical and Political Sciences of the Cherkasy State University of Technology.

Remigijus Šimašius

Remigijus is the Senior Advisor of Centenary Policy Institute, former mayor of Vilnius, former Minister of Justice of Lithuania, and former President of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute.

Radu Nechita

Associate professor Radu Nechita teaches Microeconomics, Globalisation and Development, European Economic Integration at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania (Department of European Studies). His general topics of interest gravitate around the institutional factors of development, with emphasis on regulations, monetary and fiscal policies.

He promotes economic education in various forms: as a trainer in personal finance or in entrepreneurial education, by publishing dozens of articles in mass-media and by participating in over one hundred TV and radio shows. Since 2003, he has organized the “Friedrich von Hayek Seminar”, an extracurricular weekly series of interactive conferences, open to all students from the Cluj-Napoca area.

Bohdan Rudkowski

Bohdan studied at the Donetsk National Medical University since 2009, but due to Russian aggression, he was forced to leave Donetsk and finish his education at the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy. During his student years, he had the opportunity to work as a paramedic at an emergency and emergency medical aid station and in the cardiology department.

For 5 years he worked in the mobile team of the humanitarian mission as the chief medical consultant. He was a participant in coordination meetings on the humanitarian crisis in the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine. In 2020, he started a private medical practice in Mariupol.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he was forced to move to Ivano-Frankivsk, where he was the coordinator of the medical process and the doctor of the mobile team. Since 2024, he has been a co-founder of the NEZKRAY health center (medicine and psychology).

Vít Samek

Vít Samek is a former paramedic, publicist, and the founding member and Mission Chief of Operace Kyseláč (Operation Sour Ale), started the week the full-scale invasion to Ukraine began, and which has since delivered significant amounts of humanitarian and material aid to Ukraine.

Program Council of the Freedom and Entrepreneurship Foundation

The Council was established by the Founder. Its members are entrepreneurs and employees and volunteers of the third sector distinguished by outstanding achievements in the field of entrepreneurship, business or the popularization of the ideas of limited government or the free market. The Council has an advisory vote in matters related to the educational activities of the Foundation.

Greg Piątkowski

Greg is the President of the Polish Global Entrepreneurs Council. Between 2018 and 2023 Director of Analytics Department and Director of the Cracow Department of the Ombudsman for S&M Entrepreneurs. 2019 – 2023 Representative of the Ombudsman for SME in Brussels.

Between 2016 and 2018 Ombudsman for Alumni Rights in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Chairman of the Program Council of the Freedom and Entrepreneurship Foundation. Member of the Council of Patrons of the Cracow University of Economics. Board Member and Treasurer of the Polish Landed Gentry Association Krakow.

Lecturer of the School of Polish and European Law in Ukraine as well as the Club of Austrian School of Economics. Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University and Faculty of Political Science of the Pedagogical University in Krakow.

Piotr Palutkiewicz

Piotr Palutkiewitcz is an economist and the Vice President of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute. He is also a co-founder and former President of the Management Board of the Instigos Institute of Economics and Consumerism, and former research fellow at the School of Public and

Non-Profit Administration, Grand Valley State University, USA.

Sebastian Stodolak

Sebastian Stodolak is the Vice President of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute, economic columnist for Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw, and Postgraduate Studies in Finance and Monetary Policy at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Tomasz Wróblewski

Tomasz Wróblewski is a journalist, publisist, and the CEO Warsaw Enterprise Institute. He introduced the first editions of American magazines like Newsweek and Forbes, of which he was later editor-in-chief, in Poland. After graduating from the University of Houston, with several newspapers and weeklies in America, including Newsweek, simultaneously working as a correspondent for Radio Free Europe in Washington, D.C.

Ketevan Kartsydze

Ketevan Kartsydze studied political science and regional development in the Czech Republic. In February 2023, she became a UN volunteer in Ukraine. Now, Ketevan works in South Ukraine with international NGOs, leading livelihood programs in frontline regions.

Andreas Jurgens

Having studied communication & media sciences & psychology, Andreas came in 2013 for the first time to Ukraine. At the end of 2016, Andreas founded the Freedom Today Network of which he is CEO of today.

In 2017 FTN produced a documentary “Russian Aggression and Western Ignorance” where they predicted the Invasion of Ukraine. From mid-2024, he will be Vice President of the Association for European Security, which is currently being founded in Germany.

Daniil Lubkin

Сo-founder of one of Ukraine’s biggest youth organizations, Ukrainian Students for Freedom. As of 2024, more than 650 participants had joined USF. In 2021, Daniil left the CEO position and was appointed as Head of the Board, where he served until today. The Organization continues to grow each year with activists from all over Ukraine. Daniil also co-founded Beholder, a revolutionary AI startup that finds critical minerals. To date, the startup has raised over 1 million euros in investments. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Daniil has organized fundraising campaigns to help Ukrainian military and civilians. Since 2022, it has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct aid.
