Based on his research and political experience in Venezuela, Jorge will explain how authoritarian regimes like Iran, Russia, China, and Venezuela are strengthening their diplomatic, military, and economic ties.
By creating their own “authoritarian ecosystem,” these regimes have been able to enhance their domestic grip on power and international influence. The lecture will conclude with a series of policy recommendations aimed at addressing the situation.
