Kennedy, former MTV VJ and Reason TV contributor, will be moderating the Women For Liberty Panel at #ISFLC13!
Women For Liberty is excited to announce our upcoming breakout session at the 2013 International Students For Liberty Conference: Closing the Libertarian Gender Gap: Reaching Out to Women on Your Campus. The panel will be moderated by none other than Kennedy of Reason TV! Three of SFL’s top student leaders will be gracing the panel: Kara LaRose, Elise Thompson, and Kelly Barber.
So, why are there so few libertarian women? Theories abound, and while the cause may be manifold, there are concrete solutions and steps that we as libertarians can take to spread our message and broaden our appeal. This panel is intended be a candid and interactive conversation, focusing on real-life experiences on today’s college campus, and how libertarians can become better communicators not just to women, but to everyone.
This panel is open to all conference attendees: both men and women are encouraged to attend! The session will be at 2:45PM on Saturday, February 16. Session locations will be released soon, so check back often!
