Give the Gift of Liberty
All year round, Students For Liberty gives students the opportunity to learn about liberty and prepares them to be leaders of liberty by providing free resources and opportunities to young people. To understand SFL’s impact on students, read James’ and Chelsea’s stories. But there are many more students in need of support. Give the gift of liberty by making a tax-deductible donation to Students For Liberty at www.givethegiftofliberty.org:
- $15 sends a tabling kit to a student group
- $25 provides a free set of books to a student group
- $115 sponsors a student to attend the International SFL Conference
- $500 pays for a Leadership Forum for 30 students
- $3,000 supports a Campus Coordinator to start and build pro-liberty groups on up to 10 campuses for the year
Old Wise Libertarians Society (OWL Society)
“Old Wise Libertarians” (OWLs) are stalwarts of the liberty movement. They have fought with distinction for many years in the battle for liberty, and have the experience and expertise needed to develop the best strategies for creating a free society. The OWL Society consists of those older and wiser members of the liberty movement who provide the mentorship and resources necessary for the student movement for liberty to succeed. If you understand the importance of providing support to today’s students in the battle for liberty, you can join the OWL Society by becoming a monthly contributor to SFL of $10 or more, or making a one-time donation of $120 or more by clicking here.
Benefits of OWL Society membership include:
- Monthly updates on how your contribution is helping SFL
- Invitations to SFL events in your area (where you can meet the students you are supporting)
- Updates on projects and works of other OWL Society members
Morality of Capitalism Project
For the 2011-2012 school year, SFL launched the Morality of Capitalism project to educate students on the ethical foundations of the free market.
Make a donation today to receive your copies of The Morality of Capitalism.
- $50 – Receive a free copy of The Morality of Capitalism
- $100 – Receive 5 copies of The Morality of Capitalism
- $500 or more – Receive a sizable shipment of The Morality of Capitalism to distribute to your family, friends, and organizations (email Alexander McCobin at amccobin@studentsforliberty.org for more information)
Campus Accounts
SFL Campus Accounts are an alternative means for students and student groups to receive money from entities outside the traditional university bureaucracy. If an outside individual or organization wishes to make a donation to a student organization that holds an SFL Campus Account, they can make a donation to Students For Liberty with instructions that the donation be used to support students at that school/group. By donating to SFL, the donor will receive a receipt for their donation with full 501(c)(3) tax-exemption. SFL will then administer and oversee the use of that donation’s funds to fulfill the donor’s intent of supporting students at the school or area to which the money is directed. The SFL Campus Accounts program is in its pilot phase and so only available to a limited number of student groups. For more information on which campuses are currently supported, please click here.
