Bio: Lexxie is currently a senior at Stonehill College studying Political Science and Economics. After spending most of her high school years defending democratic principles, her passion for the free market and for liberty was finally realized in September of 2010 when the Institute for Humane Studies held a weekend seminar at Stonehill. Since that September, she has attending additional IHS seminars, a FEE seminar, and, of course, Students for Liberty events. She has also served as an intern at a State Policy Network in Rhode Island, and has participated in the Koch Internship Program, working at the American Legislative Exchange Council. This summer she will also participate in the IHS Summer Fellows Program, interning at the John Locke Foundation in Raleigh, North Carolina. After graduation she plans to continue working for the benefit of liberty, though she is unsure of the exact manner in which she will do so. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, reading, writing, and studying.
