Bio: Dan Humbrecht is in his second year of studying Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dan joined the liberty movement as secretary for Young Americans for Liberty at UIUC during his first semester at school and subsequently accepted the position of President the following semester. Dan rapidly expanded his work and knowledge in the liberty movement through attending numerous conferences, seminars, and protests. He plans to continue to take advantage of such opportunities in order to expand his presence in the movement by working with SFL and other liberty-focused groups.

On Students for Liberty: “I believe that the first step in promoting liberty is the education of one’s peers. I thusly hope to expand the liberty movement to less-active community colleges and other small schools in the area through extensive outreach programs with the aid of SFL’s invaluable resources and student network.”
