The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles For Liberty have had their free speech rights threatened and are fighting back. The FGCU Eagles For Liberty invited students and professors to a screening of Not Evil, Just Wrong, the new documentary which investigates global warming claims and compares today’s climate change fear to the banning of DDT in the 1970′s which led to hundreds of thousands of deaths by malaria.
In response to an email invite, FGCU Professor Patrick Green responded by claiming the Eagles for Liberty were distributing propaganda and violating University policy. In defense of their 1st Amendment rights, the Eagles for Liberty are taking the battle public and getting media attention for it. Congratulations to Brandon and the entire Eagles for Liberty for standing up for their free speech on campus. In the end, the Eagles for Liberty screened Not Evil, Just Wrong despite Professor Green’s threats and attracted over 50 students.
Since when is learning a bad thing. It seems to me that the leftest groups are afraid of opposing thoughts. Hate to break it to them, but college is where you are suppose to be exposed to every brand of thinking and determine which one is correct for you. Even if no one else agrees with it. Keep up the good work Brandon, bring all forms of thought to your school.
