
The Independent Institute is looking for a research intern to directly assist Senior Fellow Ivan Eland on his upcoming books. The work will include research about how the warfare state created the welfare state in addition to other work for Eland’s projects. Candidates must be able to work 5-10 hours per week, have access to a university library, share an affinity for the mission of the Institute, and be located in the D.C. area. The internship will last until the end of this semester, with the possibility of continuing on to the spring semester as well. The position is unpaid.
