The Executive Board is the driving entity behind SFL, led entirely by students and recent alumni. Members of the Executive Board provide the strategic direction for SFL as well as lead the organization’s many efforts to support students. So why should you apply for the Executive Board?
- Advanced training in how to be a leader for liberty throughout the year;
- An all-expense paid trip to Washington DC for SFL’s Leadership Retreat for one week in the summer;
- Trips to liberty-oriented conferences, meetings, and events; and
- Access to SFL’s many resources and networks to promote liberty.
With the many benefits come many responsibilities, though. Exec Board officers should expect to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week to SFL and be held accountable for many projects that they oversee. But don’t let this discourage you from applying! The application process is meant to put together the strongest leadership team possible to continue SFL’s incredible growth. Applying does not lock you in to the position and our hope with this process is to get to know as many candidates as possible.
