Blacksmith Liberty & Entrepreneurship Series

Description: Five days spent exploring the ideas of liberty, entrepreneurship and investing through interactive lectures, workshops, presentations, debates, and discussions with approximately fifty like-minded students.

Casey Youth Conference on Liberty and Entrepreneurship

Description: Doug Casey and partners challenge CYCLE students to look at the crises in Belarus and elsewhere as opportunities, proposing to invest in the best business idea or ideas to capitalize on these crises. This is not an academic exercise. This is not conceptual. This is a real request for investment proposals. Bring your investment ideas to CYCLE, you can work on them together during CYCLE, and they will help you submit the best possible plan to Doug, Lobo and partners.

Freedom Week

Description: Freedom Week is an annual week long seminar organized by the Adam Smith Institute and the Institute of Economic Affairs. Freedom Week is designed to educate students about the ideas and principles behind free markets and the free society. Its intensive programme of lectures, discussions and debates – all conducted in a relaxed, informal atmosphere – covers a variety of topics, and quickly gives students a grounding in the fundamentals of classical liberalism.

Institute for Economic Studies

Description: IES Europe offers you an opportunity to learn about classical liberal ideas and explore them with insights from their faculty into the study of history, economics and philosophy. Join IES this summer and deepen your understanding of ideas that allow humans to flourish and prosper.

International Society for Individual Liberty (ISIL) World Conference 2011

Description: The International Society for Individual Liberty and Libertarian International form the largest network of freedom-loving individuals in the world. Together with the Tea Party Italia they invite you to the ISIL 2011 World Conference, to be held on the idyllic island of Vulcano, off the coast of Sicily. Language of Liberty Institute

Description: The students who attend an LLI English Liberty Camp come away with a basic understanding of how free societies operate and how economic freedom, through entrepreneurship, supports individual freedom.

Liberty Seminars

Description: Liberty Seminars are organized by the Lighthouse Association, a Slovenian classical liberal think tank. The Liberty Seminars are open to people of all ages, and from any background. They offer both basic and advanced week-long seminars that actively explores the historical, philosophical and economic foundations of a free society through engaging lectures, small group discussions, movie screenings, debates and presentations.

Summer University of the New Economics

Description: The Summer University of New Economics bring together social scientists, economists, lawyers, philosophers, and historians for three days to discuss recent developments and put forth tangible proposals without regard to artificial or disciplinary boundaries. Offering a clear and accessible debate on recent scientific thinking, the summer program is accessible to a wider, more general audience. Students from all different backgrounds and levels of education are welcome to attend. There is no age limit on who is welcome to contribute and take part in debate. Additionally, men and women from the media or government, especially those with past public policy experience, are encouraged to attend for the benefit of the entire audience.
