My university has a couple of other student groups associated with the SFL, but they seem to be largely inactive and centered around conservative politics instead of free market economics and individual liberty.

I really appreciate this information as I am trying to start an Austrian Economics group at my university. I sent my information to SFL, and I hope to hear back soon! Thanks.

I'm starting a pro-liberty group on my campus this semester and I'm centering it around Austrian economics because I've actually met quite a few conservatives who are somewhat interested in the philosophy of liberty because they are socially tolerant, and I figure that the easiest way to teach them liberty is through Austrian economics, instead of hitting them w/ the civil libertarian stuff first. If they can understand the true nature of Austrian economics then being more socially liberal will come as a result I believe.

Anyway, if you want to keep in touch perhaps we can share strategies w/ each other? Right now I have 2 guys from one of my classes that I've shared the Broken Window Fallacy with and also Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson. I think that's a good starting place. Look me up on facebook!

For some reason I cannot submit the form. It says I am not submitting something in the "NAME" field when I am. Is there a work around?

Hi my name is Scott Camuto and I am the President of the College Libertarians at McDaniel College. The current location for the Student Group is Westminster, MD not Reisterstown. That is the location of our former president Ross Smith. Could you change the location. Thanks.

Vorpaladin – Although it is nice to believe non pre-emtive war is a sound principal, it can be a naive position. For instance, Nazi Germany building up it's military while the rest of the world sat idly by until it was too late. I think Iraq is a bit different yet not entirely. They violated 17 U.N. resolutions and forbade inspectors to see the sites of their supposed weaponry. FDR dismantled our military and hence – invited agression. The same process is underway today.
