State Policy Network
The State Policy Network invites Students For Liberty activists to apply for the Generation Liberty Fellowship. The Generation Liberty Fellowship will bring 30 young leaders from across the U.S. to the SPN 17th Annual Meeting, the premier event for the free-market, state think-tank community. The Annual Meeting takes place November 1–4 in Asheville, North Carolina. Based on last year’s numbers, SPN anticipates more than 500 state think-tank leaders, policy analysts and others to attend.
The application deadline is September 21st, so you need to act fast! You don’t want to miss out on this great conference, especially the roundtable discussion on “Student Outreach” and SFL’s Toga Party (details forthcoming)!
Attached here are additional details and the (quick) GLF application. The Fellowship will provide up to $650 in travel funds and three nights lodging at the event. We are absolutely honored that SPN has partnered with SFL to provide this fellowship exclusively for interns at SPN think tanks and active SFL members. If your group is not yet affiliated with SFL, make sure to do so soon! Don’t forget you can get involved in other ways by participating in E-Leadership webinars, attending a Studetns For Liberty Conference, or starting a group.
One key requirement: any Students For Liberty activist must be 21 years old by Nov. 1, 2009 to apply. You cannot attend the conference unless you are 21 years old by the start of the conference.
