I’ve posted several times on here about the Motorhome Diaries, but to recap, it’s “the story of two friends who took to the road in April 2009 to search for freedom in America. Along the way Jason and Pete meet individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and viewpoints at college campuses, homes, businesses and organizations that are united by one thing: increasing individual freedom and responsibility and decreasing the scope of government.” This is an incredible project with Pete and Jason (two long-time supporters of SFL since back when we organized the first conference at Columbia) connecting pro-liberty individuals of all kinds, including many students along the way. They have met several SFL members and made videos highlighting them, so be sure to check them out below.

SFL is now one of the Motorhome Diaries sponsors.  SFL’s logo is going to be printed on the side of MARV, their mobile home and they are going to be promoting SFL to students along their trip. While we spend most of our time as students on the internet, connecting through social networking sites and email, the most valuable means of connecting students with the larger liberty movement is through in-person meetings like the kinds the Motorhome Diaries arranges all over. Check out their calendar and come out to visit them! This is a great excuse to bring a friend who has not gotten involved before or the liberty lover who wants to meet a couple of guys doing an off the wall awesome project.
