Bio: Christopher Deming is Associate Director for Alumni Relations for Northwood University. He oversees alumni activity in southeast Michigan, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Flint along with assisting with all Michigan campus and Midwest alumni activity.
Before joining Northwood, Deming was the director of campus leadership for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. There he ran Students for a Free Economy, a nonpartisan college student group sponsored by the Center. Deming is currently a graduate student at the University of Detroit Mercy, studying economics. He pursued his undergraduate degree at Northwood University, where he received his diploma magna cum laude, majoring in economics, international business, and management. In his final year at Northwood, he won the Ludwig von Mises Award, the university’s highest honor for a student graduating in economics. Deming has training in project management from Volkswagen GmbH, is an avid cyclist, soccer player and writer.
