Bio: Alec graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution in June 2011. During college he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the California Review for three years, where he first became interested in the message of the liberty movement as an active member of the UCSD Young Americans for Liberty. After graduating from UCSD, Alec became a summer intern for the National Journalism Center in Washington, DC. He is currently working for Newsmaxand is covering foreign affairs for their new intelligence site, LIGNET. Alec also freelances, reporting on California’s broken higher education system.
