2010-2011 SFL Positions
Students For Liberty has experienced tremendous growth since our founding in August 2008. While the organization is student-run and driven by a volunteer business model, we are continuing to expand so rapidly that we need to bring on additional full time staff members to keep the organization’s affairs in order. In June, 2009, we hired our first full time staff member, Clark Ruper, as Program Manager to oversee SFL’s projects. For the 2010-2011 school year, SFL will be looking to bring on 2 additional full time staff members to develop the organization’s infrastructure: an Internal Operations Manager to to take care of organizational issues from the inside and a Communications Manager to build SFL’s external image, recognition, and exposure to students and the world. Each of these positions are for individuals to work in Washington DC from June 2010 – May 2011 with the possibility of renewal. Compensation will be discussed with individual applicants.
If you are interested in applying for either of these positions, we strongly encourage you to apply for the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation’s Koch Associate Program, a year-long nonprofit management fellowship that places associates at pro-liberty nonprofits for the year while providing training and instruction on how to effectively run a nonprofit organization.
