Bio: Pericles Niarchos is currently a senior at Drexel University studying as a History and Politics dual major. With encouragement from his brother and after Ron Paul debated Rudolph Giuliani on the causes of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, Pericles began an intellectual journey into libertarianism. In an attempt to help develop his own beliefs and awaken others to the underlying issues of society, Pericles joined the Student Liberty Front, a student organization dedicated to furthering the cause of individual freedom. Through his efforts Pericles refined his knowledge of the free market and voluntary human action and went to work spreading the message in the Philadelphia area. Pericles is currently creating a philanthropic institution based out of Philadelphia to help bring the ideas of liberty to those who have come to depend upon the state for survival. He looks forward to bringing his own experiences to Students for Liberty and hopes to further reform his convictions working with the many intellectuals in SFL.
