Bio: Megan is a junior at the University of Missouri, studying history and art history. Her interest in the student movement for liberty began at CPAC 2009 and has grown exponentially over the past year. Megan has been involved in College Republicans, Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, numerous political campaigns, debates, and forums, and is the fall 2010 political columnist for her student newspaper. Over the past year, she has helped orchestrate many demonstrations on campus, including an Affirmative Action Bake Sale and a mock-gulag in protest of a communist speaker. She will be working hard over the coming year to establish a liberty-minded academic club on her campus, while helping to start and grow pro-liberty clubs on campuses across the state.
On Students For Liberty: “As a campus coordinator, I hope to foster real intellectual debate and political diversity on college campuses across Missouri, while encouraging student activism and ensuring a loud voice for liberty.”
