I always like to ask leaders of an organization, "Who's your daddy?" i.e., who are your group's main sponsors? Is it the Republican party, the NRA, some foundation or private corporation or what? Do you have a document which accounts for what percentage of contribution comes from where? I ask this, obviously because many groups who claim themselves to be "independent" or "free" are beholden to big contributors who use them as a mouthpiece.
